İlkadım Belediye Başkanı Necattin Demirtaş, Bank Asya 1.Lig’de liderlik koltuğuna oturan Samsunspor’a destek için İlkadım ilçesi’nin cadde ve sokaklarını dev bayraklarla donattı.

Ligin 22. Haftasında Boluspor’u kendi sahasında mağlup ederek puanını 37’ye çıkaran kırmızı beyazlıların zirvedeki saltanatı, Samsun’da büyük coşku ile karşılandı. Süper Lig’e çıkmak için deplasmanda elde ettiği 3 puanla büyük avantaj sağlayan Samsunspor’a destek çıkan Başkan Necattin Demirtaş, Kırmızı beyazlı ekibe sevgisini ilçe’nin değişik noktalarına astırdığı onlarca dev bayrakla gösterdi. Mecidiye, Ağabali, Müftühamam Caddeleri ile Hastane, Derebahçe, Cedit ve Kadifefale mahallelerinde asılan dev bayraklar, vatandaşlar tarafından da büyük ilgi gördü. 
Samsunspor’un Süper Lig’e çıkacağına inancının tam olduğunu söyleyen İlkadım Belediye Başkanı Necattin Demirtaş, Şehrin markası olan Samsunspor’un Süper Lig hasretine bu sezon son vereceğini belirterek, Kırmızı beyazlı takıma Süper Lig yolunda başarılar diledi.
